Another upgrade is the battery life with up to 12 hours of playtime and for more time, turn-on Playtime Boost within the JBL Portable app, to extend for up to 3 more hours. Recharge in just 3 hours.

Share the sounds via AuracastTM, a Bluetooth technology to connect other JBL AuracastTM enabled devices. Auracast pairing can be accomplished by pushing the button on both devices or through the JBL Portable app. JBL speakers without Auracast can still pair through the PartyBoost feature on the JBL Portable app. In this review Clip 5 paired effortlessly and provided music to separate rooms with a Go 4 and Xtreme 4.
