Kolej Yayasan Saad Melaka Again Places in the Top 10 of SPM Results

MELAKA, 29 MAY 2024 — Kolej Yayasan Saad Melaka (KYSM) is proud to announce its outstanding performance in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2023 results. Almost 50% of KYSM SPM 2023 candidates achieved straight As, with 81 out of 168 students attaining this remarkable feat. This achievement again places KYSM among the top 10 best schools in Malaysia, based on the Average School Grade (GPS).

With a GPS of 1.257, KYSM has ranked 5th based on its spectacular SPM 2023 results, an improvement from last year’s 7th place. The National Average Grade (GPN) for this year stands at 4.60. KYSM’s superior GPS of 1.257 highlights the school’s commitment to academic excellence.

At KYSM, emphasis is placed on character development and enhanced skills amongst its students. Extended curricula are offered in addition to the standard national curriculum, exposing students to coding and IT, Mandarin as a third language, music theory and practical, swimming lessons, and leadership trainings.

The GPN, based on an increasing point scale, indicates that a lower average signifies better overall performance in the national exams. The grading scale is as follows:
